In a surprising crossover from the world of reality TV, viewers were stunned as “MasterChef” judge Joe Bastianich was revealed as the hidden talent beneath the Spaghetti & Meatballs costume in the latest episode of “The Masked Singer.” Coincidentally, this revelation occurred on “Billy Joel Night,” a special tribute to the iconic singer-songwriter.
Growing up in Long Island during the 70s and 80s, Bastianich reminisced on how Billy Joel’s music formed the soundtrack of his youth. He shared a personal connection with Joel, having known him both from his upbringing and as a patron in his restaurants. Bastianich expressed his hope that Joel would catch wind of his performance, stating, “I hope he gets to see it!”

Despite the panelists’ best efforts, none managed to correctly guess Bastianich’s identity. Robin Thicke guessed Stanley Tucci, while Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and newcomer Rita Ora speculated on other culinary personalities like Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, and Gordon Ramsay respectively.
