Supermodel Linda Evangelista, who recently settled a $50 million lawsuit over CoolSculpting, revealed she’s “not interested” in dating. Her last date predates the 2016 fat-freezing procedure that resulted in her filing the lawsuit against Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc.
In a candid interview with The Sunday Times, Evangelista discussed her post-settlement life, including her self-described status as a “germophobe” with “self-diagnosed OCD.” She shared insights on motherhood, emphasizing that her 17-year-old son, Augustin James, is her top priority. During an interview in 2013, she declared “Motherhood is my whole life now….It’s the best. I am so fulfilled.”
The supermodel also touched upon her journey as a two-time breast cancer survivor.
Evangelista humorously stated, “I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore. I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”
In the September-launched Apple TV+ documentary series The Super Models, Evangelista claimed her ex-husband subjected her to physical abuse in their marriage. Despite these challenges, Evangelista now reflects on her life with a newfound perspective. “I’m not hard on myself any longer,” she stated, emphasizing her commitment to shedding guilt and shame. While avoiding mirrors, Evangelista navigates life with resilience and an inspiring determination to move forward.
This revelation adds a new layer to the Linda Evangelista story, where humor and resilience continue to shape her narrative after the CoolSculpting incident.
