The new chapter of the “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is about to begin. Freya Allan, Owen Teague, and Peter Macron lead the ensemble cast for the upcoming sequel, which picks up after Matt Reeves trilogy.
The planned “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” prequel, directed by Matt Reeves and set years after the events of the previous prequel trilogy “War for the Planet of the Apes,” was officially announced by 20th Century. The movie’s producers are Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping, with Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed serving as executive producers.
With “The Witcher” actress Freya Allen and Peter Macon also acting, Owen Teague will play the main ape. The movie is scheduled for release in 2024.

Four sequels to the 1968 “Planet of the Apes” film followed, with the last one coming out in 1973. The 2011 prequel movies were eventually inspired by two TV shows, a 2001 remake, and Rupert Wyatt’s “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.” James Franco and Andy Serkis portrayed the intelligent apes in this genesis story explanation movie. For the sequels “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and “War for the Planet of the Apes,” director Reeves took Wyatt’s place.
