It has been reported that Keanu Reeves will be making an appearance in ‘Ballerina,‘ a spinoff of the John Wick action franchise which focuses on a female lead.
While Lionsgate, the studio producing the movie, has not confirmed Reeves’ casting, they have announced that Ian McShane will be reprising his role as Winston, the manager of the Continental Hotel. Ana de Armas will star as a young female assassin seeking revenge against those who killed her family, but further details about the plot is not yet disclosed.
Len Wiseman is directing the movie ‘Ballerina,’ which is written by Shay Hatten and currently being filmed. The film is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Chad Stahelski, while Brady Fujikawa and Chelsea Kujawa oversee the project for Lionsgate.
Fans of the franchise can first catch Reeves and McShane in the upcoming ‘John Wick: Chapter 4‘ on March 24, 2023. The previous three films in the action-packed series were box office hits.
