Despite John Wick’s apparent demise in Chapter 4, the director Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves have not ruled out the possibility of a fifth film in the franchise.
John Wick: Chapter 4 has been the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful film in the series so far, with a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a domestic box office gross of $73.5 million in its first three days. Stahelski and Reeves have both expressed interest in working together again and have not closed the door on a fifth installment.
While Stahelski feels that Chapter 4 concluded John Wick’s story in a satisfying way, he has not ruled out the possibility of continuing the franchise in the future.
John Wick fans will get to see Reeves portray the role at least one more time. The actor plays Wick in the forthcoming spin-off movie Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas and is directed by Underworld filmmaker Len Wiseman.
