The docuseries of Harry and Meghan was not supposed to be released until 2023, but earlier we got to know the release date of the couple’s docuseries.

Whether it should be put off until 2023 has been a point of contention between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Just in time for the holidays, the new documentary promises to provide viewers with a fly-on-the-wall perspective.

 Netflix on Thursday unveiled a first-look trailer following months of secrecy. The personal tale of the couple’s courting and unrivaled access to their turbulent years as senior royals are among the promises of the Liz Garbus-directed production.

While talking to Variety Meghan says, “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired,” the duchess said. The former actor and content producer also said it was exciting to see Prince Harry as a member of a proper film production.”

She further says, “My husband has never worked in this industry before. For me, having worked on ‘Suits,’ it’s so amazing to be around so much creative energy and to see how people work together and share their own points of view. That’s been really fun.”

The docuseries “Harry and Meghan” will premiere around the world on Netflix on December 8.
