Fox’s ‘Murder In A Small Town’ Enlists James Cromwell & Stana Katic for Guest Roles

Fox’s captivating crime drama, Murder In A Small Town, is bolstering its ensemble with notable guest stars, including James Cromwell from Succession and Stana Katic from Castle. Joining them are Mya Lowe, Savonna Spracklin, Aaron Douglas, and Fritzy-Klevans Destine.

The U.S. rights to the series were secured by Fox in December, marking its first scripted international co-production under a new model. Adapted from the Karl Alberg novels penned by L.R. Wright, the show follows Detective Karl Alberg, played by Rossif Sutherland, who seeks solace in a tranquil coastal town but uncovers a web of secrets. Kristin Kreuk stars as Cassandra, a local librarian entwined in Alberg’s journey.

James Cromwell portrays George Wilcox, a retired History teacher grappling with the loss of his wife. Stana Katic takes on the role of Zoe, a seemingly composed individual with a fiery temperament beneath her cool exterior.

The supporting cast includes Mya Lowe as Corporal Edwina Yen, a criminology graduate on the fast track in law enforcement, Savonna Spracklin as Isabella Harbud, the witty civilian receptionist, Aaron Douglas as Sergeant Sid Sokolowski, and Fritzy-Klevans Destine as Constable Andy Kendrick, a charming yet capable cop.

Murder In A Small Town, produced by Canada’s Sepia Films in collaboration with Fox Entertainment and Future Shack Entertainment, promises riveting storytelling under the helm of head writer Ian Weir and director Milan Cheylov.

With the addition of these esteemed actors, the series is poised to deliver gripping performances and captivating narratives, further solidifying its status as a must-watch crime drama.
