Deadpool 3 Has Officially Finished Filming Says Ryan Reynolds

Breaking the fourth wall and making headlines, Ryan Reynolds took to his official social media accounts to announce the completion of filming for Deadpool 3. Set to hit the screens on July 26, 2024, the film has been racing against time since the strikes concluded at the end of the previous year.

Reynolds, the charismatic star of the Deadpool series, shared the news with his signature humor, stating, “The suit hides the blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears.” Expressing heartfelt gratitude, he thanked the cast and crew, acknowledging their resilience in overcoming challenges like wind, rain, strikes, and even a playful jab at @RealHughJackman. Reynolds credited director @ShawnLevyDirect for leading the charge.

In the wake of the tumultuous year in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, 2022 brought definitive news about Deadpool 3. Ryan Reynolds successfully persuaded Hugh Jackman to reprise his role as Logan, and new cast additions include Emma Corrin as a mysterious villain and Matthew Macfadyen from Succession.

Returning favorites such as Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Rob Delaney, Brianna Hildebrand, and Shioli Kutsuna will reprise their roles.

As the only MCU film slated for a 2024 release, Deadpool 3 bears the weight of high expectations. With its share of underperformances in 2023 and production delays due to strikes, the film remains shrouded in rumors.

Now, fans eagerly await the July 26 premiere and the anticipation for the unconventional and unpredictable Deadpool 3 continues to grow.
