The David Beckham series “Save Our Squad”, which will premiere on Wednesday November 9th, has a trailer and first glimpses on Disney+.
The Manchester United and LA Galaxy legend returns to his East London roots to teach Westward Boys, a youthful, grassroots team that is facing relegation and is co-produced by UK indie Twenty Twenty and Beckham’s Studio 99.
In the endearing series, Save Our Squad Beckham strives to change the team’s fortunes. It was one of the first Disney+ non-scripted program to be commissioned outside of the United States. The Premiership: Rise of the Billionaires is another project being produced by Beckham’s Studio 99 for Paramount+.

Disney+ announced several documentary series at the Edinburgh TV Festival, including a piece on the Wagatha Christie mystery and a program on the Brawn F1 squad that will be narrated by Keanu Reeves. Disney+ is producing 60 foreign originals over the course of the next two years.
