Crunchyroll released English and Japanese trailer for ‘Chainsaw Man’

In addition to announcing the English and Japanese voice casts, Crunchyroll published two trailers for the eagerly awaited anime Chainsaw Man.
The first of the two teasers, which is in Japanese, shows fresh scenes from the upcoming anime version of Mappa, which will debut its first episode on October 11. Twelve episodes will make up the series, and starting on October 11 they will all be released on a weekly basis.

The current list of English cast members is as follows; Reagan Murdock plays Aki, Suzie Yeung plays Makima, and Ryan Colt Levy plays Denji, Powerful Sarah Wiedenheft.

The English voice cast for Chainsaw Man is showcased in the second trailer, giving fans their first taste of how the English language cast will sound.

In the meantime, Crunchyroll unveiled additional Japanese voice actors that would appear in the show.

According to the series’ summary, “Denji is a teenager who lives with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita.” He has been leading a life of extreme poverty while paying off his father’s debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. Denji is one day deceived and killed. As his memory fades, he contracts with Pochita and, as “Chainsaw Man,” a man with a devil’s heart, is revived.
