Rege Jean Page & Glen Powell casted together in an Amazon series ‘Butch and Sundance’.
The untitled project has received a straight to series order from the streamer. It originates from the AGBO of Joe and Anthony Russo. Deals aren’t finalised yet. In the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick series, which is purportedly set in an alternate America, Bridgerton actor Page, who featured in the Russos The Gray Man, is anticipated to play Butch Cassidy.
Cousins Kin and Ryan Firpo, who wrote the script and will also serve as executive producers alongside Page and Powell, will work with the Russos.

A pair of Wil West criminals are the subject of the 1969 classic western Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, starring Paul Newman as Butch and Robert Redford as Sundance. Written by William Goldman and directed by George Roy.
The Russos are collaborating with Amazon on the high-profile spy drama Citadel, which is undergoing pricey reshoots.
