Brian Michael Bendis’s Role In Spider Man Musical

The co-creator of Miles Morales, a popular comic book character, has unveiled his new autobiographical graphic novel, “Fortune and Glory: The Musical!” It focuses on his experience working on the Broadway musical “Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark.” The author had previously written a three-issue story about his time in Hollywood, called “Fortune and Glory.” Despite his success in the comic book industry, he felt out of his depth when he was hired for the musical.

He questions why he was chosen for the job and is still surprised by the experience. The new autobiography is a follow-up to his previous work, as both stories center around a man who is unsure of what he is doing.

The author’s work has been highly influential in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with his creations and stories appearing in various films and TV shows such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the upcoming animated feature Spider Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Disney+ series Secret Invasion. However, he admits that his experience on the musical, while ultimately beneficial, was not good drama.
