Black Panther: Wakanda Forever makes history at the box office.
The success of Wakanda Forever at the box office has now unexpectedly created history. With a current domestic box office total of $429+ million, it is currently the highest-grossing female-led superhero film in American box office history.
In the movie, the passing of King T’Challa, the leaders of the kingdom of Wakanda strive to defend their country from encroaching forces, while a new threat arises from the undiscovered undersea nation of Talokan in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The live-action movie, which followed Princess Shuri and the country of Wakanda after King T’Challa died, has already won over a lot of fans and made a sizable sum of money at the box office.
These figures surpass Captain Marvel’s $426.8 million domestic gross, Wonder Woman’s $412.8 million domestic gross, Black Widow’s 183.6 million domestic gross, and Birds of Prey’s 84.1 million domestic gross.
The movie is currently available in the theatres.
