Crime novelist S.A. Nikias makes his series writing debut with “Haven.” The plot centres on Zara, an ordinary office worker at Lochmill Capital, played by Sophie Turner. A typical day turns chaotic when a gang of violent thieves storms in, forcing Zara and her friend Luke (Madekwe) to execute their demands. The series dives into the mystery of who would steal billions from ordinary people’s pensions and why.
Jacob Fortune-Lloyd plays DCI Rhys, a detective determined to crack the case. However, Rhys battles his own demons as a recently relapsed gambling addict, adding layers to the storyline. Andrew Koji steps in as Daniel Yoshida, a financial investigator.
Daniel, the son of immigrant parents who owned a chip shop, rose to riches as an investment banker at JP Morgan. Disillusioned by the corruption he witnessed, he left to work with the police on financial crimes.
Sam Miller, known for “I May Destroy You” and “Black Mirror,” directs the first three episodes and serves as an executive producer.
Koji’s addition to “Haven” brings a dynamic element to the series. His impressive resume includes the lead in HBO’s “Warrior,” Netflix’s “Black Doves” opposite Kiera Knightley, and Season 3 of “Gangs of London.” He recently appeared in “Bullet Train” alongside Brad Pitt and “Snake Eyes” from the GI Joe franchise. Koji’s versatility as an actor will undoubtedly enrich the thrilling narrative of “Haven.”
Fans can look forward to Koji’s performance in “Haven” on Prime Video, as this high-octane series promises to deliver suspense and intrigue in every episode.
