Simon Cowell couldn’t take it any longer and revealed to the world the reason he abruptly departed his own talk show at the eleventh hour.
Cowell says, as he is usually seen judging America’s Got Talent, people expect him to be an outgoing person who is able to strike any conversation very smoothly. However, it is not the case as he is currently struggling with severe anxiety issues confirms the TV personality in a recent interview at E News.
Cowell says, “I got to the point where they built the set and I started to get anxious and then really stressed out, and I just walked out of the meeting. I just said I literally couldn’t do this. I just couldn’t talk to people all day long. I’m not very good at talking.”
Even though his fellow judges, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, have now landed on famous talk shows making their way up from American Idol. Cowell is not ready to take the pressure and said a clear “no” to the talk show.
However, Cowell continues to judge alongside Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum on the judging panel for AGT: All-Stars despite his decision to forego hosting his own talk show.
