Aaron Taylor joins Ryan Gosling in ‘The Fall Guy’

In The Fall Guy, which now has a March 1, 2024 release date from Universal Pictures, 87North, and Entertainment 360. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the most recent actor to join Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

The movie will be directed by David Leitch, who is also producing with Kelly McCormick through their 87North company, and Guymon Casady through Entertainment 360. The movie is based on the same-named 1980s television series. The script was written by Drew Pearce, who also served as executive producer on Universal’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

There are currently no confirmed plot details for The Fall Guy.

Glen A. Larson, who created the original series, and Geoff Shaevitz will also executive producer for The Fall Guy. Production EVP On behalf of Universal, Matt Reilly will be in charge of the project. This September, filming for the project will start in Australia.

Taylor-Johnson and Leitch, who most recently collaborated on the popular Sony action thriller Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt, are reuniting for the movie. In the Sony and Marvel film Kraven the Hunter, Taylor-Johnson will also play the title role. WME, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Sloane, Offer, Weber, and Dern are his agents.
