A football limited series FIFA is in the works at Paramount+ with David O. Russell set to direct the pilot.
Matthew Belloni reported that Paramount have an agreement for David as he will direct the pilot and some episodes for a limited series called FIFA, which is situated in the soccer world, plus a first-look deal with Russell to direct two more projects.
David O. Russell, a five-time Academy Award nominee, is behind for some of the best films of the last few years, including The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle. Working alongside some of today’s most talented actors, including Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Margot Robbie, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Not much has been revealed about the project yet.
