I went to go watch this movie out of personal interest since I was a huge fan of the 2005 Willy Wonka version.
For this movie specifically, it was a good attempt. People did get to learn more depthful insights on what drives Willy Wonka to become who he is. His color inspirations and drive backed by a lack of common sense defines his name.
The creative uses of candy and colorful creations are enough to inspire anyone. The story and development was all right, a little simple but gets the job done.
My only issue was how there was a bit too much singing. The songs are all right but some songs weren’t needed. There could of been more time spent on critical development for Wonka.
