Kody Brown remains optimistic about the possibility of reconciling with his former wife, Christine Brown, despite the challenges they face in rebuilding their family dynamics. In the upcoming episode of TLC’s Sister Wives, Kody converses with Christine to explore the path forward following their separation.
According to US Weekly, during this discussion, Kody suggested the idea of seeking therapy with Christine to address their situation. However, Christine questions, “Post-breakup counseling?” adding, “What for?”
Kody playfully responds, jesting that he might require “grief counseling” himself. He then elaborates on his perspective: “Well, listen. I’ve gotta get to a place where I don’t hate you so I never speak bad about you to my children.”
In response, Christine acknowledges that it would be beneficial, stating, “If you need to have some sort of, like, post-breakup counseling with me, that’s fine The whole thing is very heartbreaking.”
In a separate commentary, Kody reflects on Christine’s remarks regarding their divorce, implying that “She’s acting like, in every way possible, that her life is better than it has ever been.”
Kody further remarks: “I feel like, yeah, I need to figure out how to forgive [Christine]. That’d be a good idea. But am I ever going to trust her? Probably not.”
The ex-couple announced their separation in November 2021 after sharing over 25 years together. Kody Brown, the father of 18 children, had Paedon with Christine, along with daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely.
