Jesse Williams joins Season 3 of ‘Only Murders In The Building’

Jesse Williams, will play a recurring character in Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building on Hulu. He will portray a documentarian who has a particular interest in the case that Martin Short’s Oliver Putnam, Selena Gomez’s Mabel Mora, and Steve Martin’s Charles Haden-Savage are working on.

Williams is a former high school teacher who is now an activist, actor, and business owner. In the Tony Award-winning revival of Take Me Out that he performed in this year, he received a nomination for a Tony Award. He will next be seen in Your Place or Mine alongside Reese Witherspoon.

Williams is represented by André Des Rochers of Granderson Des Rochers, CAA, and Entertainment 360.

Williams played Dr. Jackson Avery on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy for 12 seasons. He has also been in a number of TV shows and motion pictures, including as The Cabin in the Woods, Little Fires Everywhere, Brooklyn’s Finest, and the action comedy Secret Headquarters.

This past season, 20th Television’s Only Murders in the Building garnered 17 Emmy nominations and three victories. The show’s co-creators and writers, Martin and John Hoffman, are also its executive producers, along with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal.
