Sun Bowl: a college football match to take place in El Paso, Texas on Saturday.
It is the second-oldest bowl game in Texas, behind the Rose Bowl, along with the Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl. The University of Texas at El Paso’s Sun Bowl stadium hosts games, which are typically held at the end of December. It has included clubs from the Pac-12 Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) since 2011.
The Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl is the official name of the contest, which has been sponsored by Kellogg’s since 2019 and is named after the Frosted Flakes cereal brand’s mascot. Previous sponsors have included Hyundai Motor Company, Helen of Troy Limited (under its Vitalis and Brut brands), Norwest Corporation, John Hancock Financial, and Wells Fargo.
The match between the Bruins and the Panthers will be held this weekend and the fans have been waiting for quite a long time for this football match. The Panthers have quite a good history in bowl games. Whereas the Bruins once participated in the bowl games and were eventually deemed invalid according to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Panthers are however on the winning streaming so it will be quite an exciting match to see who will win.
